Ibiza and Leon 'attract Brits to Seat dealerships'
The Ibiza and Leon helped to attract record numbers of Brits to Seat car dealerships last month, it has been reported.During September, the manufacturer registered 5,628 autos straight off the production line - giving the group a 1.53 per cent market share.
This is up by almost 40 per cent, compared to the same month in 2008 and means the UK is now the company's biggest export destination.
According to the firm, it enjoyed impressive fleet and used car sales as well.
Peter Wyhinny, head of Seat in the UK, stated: "The most satisfying aspect of these impressive September numbers is that the success has come across the board."
The company highlighted the Ibiza and Leon as playing particularly significant roles in its strong performance.
Meanwhile, Seat recently reported that the improving quality of its models has been demonstrated by a significant drop in warranty claims over the past year.
