Seat offers customers free checks
Seat has invited its customers to take advantage of free vehicle checks.The manufacturer reminded owners of its models they are entitled to have a trained expert look over their auto without handing over a penny.
It issued this statement in light of recent research by motor care company Comma that suggested the Spanish company's customers are the most negligent when it comes to checking their oil.
The carmaker disputed the findings but acknowledged it is important to look after vehicles properly.
Nigel Griggs is head of aftersales with the group and suggested motorists should take advantage of the complimentary help being offered.
"Any driver would obviously be well advised to ensure his car is in tip-top condition – and ... [our] free check is a simple, easy way to get that peace of mind," he stated.
Motorists interested in having the assessment carried out were advised to drop in at their local Seat dealership.
In other news, the manufacturer's Ibiza model recently took the crown in the supermini class at the British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards.
