Seat Ibiza 'has impressive residual values'
Seat's new Ibiza model - the 5dr - has been projected impressive residual values by an independent source.According to CAP New Monitor, the vehicle will still be worth 43 per cent of what it costs when first bought within three years and 36,000 miles on the road.
It could be that the extra money can be used to pay for high car insurance bills or road tax costs, while it may also help pay for a deposit on a new vehicle.
The Seat Ibiza 5dr's residual value is as high as any top-performing supermini on the market.
Manufacturer relations manager Martin Ward stated that this is due to its "much-improved quality over the outgoing car".
He said: "Much of the interior is as good as some more premium brands. This quality will certainly stand the test of time, and will make the Ibiza a very desirable used car for many years."
Released as a successor to the Seat Fura, the Ibiza was originally put into production in 1985.
