Seat confirms £2,000 temporary price cuts for Altea

Car buyers can expect to save £2,000 off the recommended retail prices of Altea models over the summer months, Seat has confirmed.

As part of its new Be Driven by Your Passion campaign, the Spanish automaker is slashing the cost of two of its compact multi-purpose vehicles at participating Seat car dealerships until September 30th 2007.

Specifically, the company is offering the 1.6-litre and 1.9-litre TDI Reference Sport models for on-the-road price tags of £10,995 and £11,995 respectively.

Meanwhile, buyers of the Altea XL will be able to take advantage of discounted installation costs for an integrated satellite-navigation (sat nav) system.

Seat is offering to fit a TomTom sat nav device with Bluetooth compatibility for £250 until the end of September.

In related news, the car manufacturer recently unveiled the Altea freetrack at the Barcelona motor show.

The event, which took place on June 7th, marked the world premiere of Seat's new 4x4.
