Seat Altea XL's entry-level price unveiled
The automaker Seat has revealed how much it will cost for motorists to get their hands on the forthcoming Altea XL, which boasts even more luggage capacity than the current model.Set to arrive in Seat car dealerships in January 2007, people who need a little bit more storage space will have to pay an on-the-road price of £12,995 for the basic setup.
By increasing car length, Seat has found room to increase boot capacity on the new Altea XL from the present 409 litres to 532 litres.
However, if this still isn't enough then drivers can slide the rear seats forward up to 14 cm, boosting maximum boot capacity up to 635 litres.
In recent weeks, the Seat Altea brand has received national exposure with the Space for Everything But Compromise advertising campaign.
The TV adverts include images of a couple getting intimate in the bedroom to highlight the comparative spaciousness of the Altea range.
Commenting on the reasoning behind the campaign, Seat UK's head of marketing Steve Robertson said: "This new campaign captures the spirit of Seat perfectly - it's fun, entertaining and also a bit cheeky."
