World debut for Koleos 4x4 at Geneva 2008
Renault will show off its new 4x4 when the Geneva motor show begins next month.The Koleos is the company's first 4x4 crossover vehicle and it believes it offers customers "a unique standard of safety and comfort".
It added that the car is perfect for people looking to "get away from it all", with all-wheel drive and the cabin space usually afforded to an MPV.
According to the company, the vehicle is a "sure sign" that it is moving in the right direction and exploring new areas effectively.
"The launch of Koleos marks a decisive step in the brand's development, not only in Europe but across the world," commented Renault.
Renault was founded in 1889 and produces buses, trucks and automobiles. Its headquarters can be found in Boulogne-Billancourt.
In 2005, there were some 126,584 people working for the company worldwide.
