Renault reveals price plan for Renaultsport 197 Cup
French automobile manufacturer Renault has announced the pricing of its new Clio.The Renaultsport 197 Cup model will be available to motorists for the sum of £14,995 - £1,000 less than the cost of a standard 197.
For those who wish to preserve the vehicles aesthetics, non-metallic white paint can be picked up for an additional £150.
According to the firm, this release should maintain the strong relationship between British drivers and the company.
"The UK's love affair with the ever-popular hot hatch is set to increase even further as Renault throws down the gauntlet to its rivals with ordering now open for the eagerly-awaited Clio Renaultsport 197 Cup," commented the firm.
Honda actually owns the name Clio in Japan, meaning that Renault have to brand the vehicle under the name Lutecia in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The first Clio rolled out of Renault manufacturers in 1990 and has been in production ever since.
