New Renault car 'a good deal for drivers'

Motorists may be keen to get down to a Renault car dealership, after details of the new Megane Renaultsport 250 were announced.

With prices starting at £21,995 - the car features a 2.0-litre engine with a maximum torque of 340 nanometres.

Those looking to personalise their vehicle may also be intrigued by the option of exterior and interior colours.

With the first deliveries shipped out to customers from January 2010, the car is available for order from November 1st.

Complementing the Renault Clio, the new Megane is available in two versions.

For instance, the Renaultsport 250 Cup boasts cruise control, electrically operated door mirrors and an inbuilt mp3-compatible CD player.

Buyers could get their hands on the alternative version, which features leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control and heated front seats.

At the recent Fleet Van Awards 2009, the carmaker celebrated a prize for its New Kangoo Van.

The vehicle won the Green Van of the Year for Conventional Fuels award – the third such title the manufacturer has won in 2009.
