What is the Price Match Promise for New Cars?

We’ll match the price quoted by any other local competitor for an identical new car or van. This offer is referred to hereafter as the “Price Match Promise”.



What is meant by ‘competitor’?

A competitor is defined as a UK franchised dealership within 20 miles of the Perrys branch you're ordering the vehicle from.



What is meant by ‘identical’?

The car or van must be the exactly the same in terms of full specification including (but not limited to) brand, model, engine, transmission and colour. The price match will be based on an ‘on the road’ price, to include VAT, delivery, new vehicle registration fee, road fund licence and number plates.



What are the exclusions?

The Price Match Promise applies to identical new cars and vans only. Retail customers only - excludes fleet and business customers. The competitor's price and any applicable discounts must be available to all customers and exclude any cashback or voucher based promotions or any VIP, membership or staff discounts. Discounted vehicle prices from competitors which arise as a result of an administration, receivership, liquidation, insolvency, bankruptcy, winding up or other similar events are also excluded from the Price Match Promise. No other promotional offers, discounts or vouchers from Perrys can be used in combination with the Price Match Promise. We may exclude a competitor’s product from our Price Match Promise where we believe they made have made a pricing error. The delivery time quoted by a competitor must be comparable to that offered by Perrys.



How do I request a price match?

To request a price match, you’ll need to present a valid written quotation from a competitor, ensuring that the date and price in pounds sterling is shown. We must be able to verify all prices quoted by a competitor to our satisfaction. The written quotation must be printed and presented in writing or in person at the Perrys dealership you are ordering from. The written quotation either need to be dated no more than 2 days prior to placing an order at Perrys, or not more than 5 days after placing an order at Perrys. In the case of requesting a price match after placing an order at Perrys, the written quotation must be received at the Perrys dealership in writing or in person within 5 days of the order date.



How will I receive the price difference if I’ve already ordered a vehicle from Perrys?

Any refund for the difference in price between that shown on your Perrys order form and a valid written quotation from a competitor under the terms of the Price Match Promise will be paid in pounds sterling via an electronic transfer to your designated bank account or via cheque, within 30 days of a claim being received.



Our obligations and rights

The Price Match Promise is offered at the discretion of Perrys Motor Sales Limited and we reserve the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time. We may exclude you from our Price Match Promise at our reasonable discretion. For example, we may do so if we believe that you have breached these terms and conditions, have defrauded or attempted to defraud us or any of our other customers, or otherwise attempted to abuse our Price Match Promise.

We may transfer our rights and obligation under these terms and conditions at any time without your consent (for example if we sell our business).

The Price Match Promise is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Aftersales Products & Services



What is the Price Match Promise for Aftersales Products & Services?

We’ll match the total price quoted by any other local competitor for like for like aftersales products and services. The products and services covered by the Perrys Price Match Promise include like for like tyres, parts, mechanical repairs, routine servicing and MOTs. This offer is referred to hereafter as the “Price Match Promise”.



What is meant by ‘competitor’?

A competitor is defined as any UK franchised dealership, express or fast fit garage or VAT registered independent vehicle repair or servicing outlet within 10 miles of the Perrys branch you're visiting, excluding other branches of Perrys.



What is meant by ‘like for like’?

Competitor quotes must include VAT and be for identical tyres, parts, mechanical repairs and servicing. Any parts or oils included in the competitor quote must be of the same quality and grade as those used by the Perrys dealership. Tyres in the competitor quote must be of identical specification, including brand, pattern, load, speed rating and manufacturer marking. Tyre prices on a competitor quote must include fitting, valve, balancing and disposal.



What are the exclusions?

The Price Match Promise applies to retail customers only and excludes fleet and business customers. Bodywork repair work is excluded. The competitor's price and any applicable discounts must be available to all customers and exclude any cashback or voucher based promotions or any VIP, membership or staff discounts. Discounted prices from competitors which arise as a result of an administration, receivership, liquidation, insolvency, bankruptcy, winding up or other similar events are also excluded from the Price Match Promise. No other promotional offers, discounts or vouchers from Perrys can be used in combination with the Price Match Promise. We may exclude a competitor’s product from our Price Match Promise where we believe they made have made a pricing error. The lead time quoted by a competitor to supply a product or complete any work must be comparable to that offered by Perrys.



How do I request a price match?

To request a price match, you’ll need to present a valid like for like written quotation from the competitor business, ensuring that the date and price in pounds sterling is shown. We must be able to verify all prices quoted by a competitor to our satisfaction. The written quotation must be printed and presented in writing or in person at the Perrys dealership shown on the customer invoice. The written quotation presented either need to be dated no more than 2 days prior to contacting Perrys, or not more than 5 days after purchase of the tyre or part, or completion of the mechanical repair, servicing or MOT. In the case of requesting a price match after purchasing a tyre or part from Perrys, or completion of a mechanical repair, service or MOT at Perrys, the written quotation must be received at the Perrys dealership shown on the customer invoice, in writing or in person within 5 days of the date on the Perrys customer invoice.



How will I receive the price difference if I’ve already been invoiced by Perrys?

Any refund due for the difference in price between that shown on your Perrys invoice and a valid written quotation from a competitor under the terms of the Price Match Promise will be paid in pounds sterling via an electronic transfer to your designated bank account or via cheque, within 30 days of a claim being received.
