Portsmouth Peugeot 308 Launch Night Success
More than 150 people converged at Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard to witness the Perrys launch the all-new Peugeot 308. And, with guests being treated to a night of entertainment and excitement, the launch proved to be a night to remember."We are so proud of the latest - and possibly the best ever - addition to the Peugeot range, that we wanted to launch it in real style," Bob Wright, General manager of Perrys Peugeot. "And where better to launch this historical car than at famous launching venue!"
The event began with the unveiling of the new car, which didn't disappoint. With its feline-like headlamps, plunging bonnet and dynamic bumper, the new 308 makes a lasting impression. Sculpted with well-balanced lines, the car is firmly placed on its wheels. This gives you complete command of the road, a feeling confirmed by the wide track width of its chassis and its rear bumper. The large windows offer a stunning panoramic view, revealing how spacious the interior feels to both driver and passengers.
Guest, Sarah Heron, commented: "I currently drive a 307, so was quite excited to see what the 308 was like. It looks wonderful, and I just can't wait to get one!"
As well as getting a chance to examine, the new 308, visitors were entertained with a variety of other attractions, primarily a guided tour of the Mary Rose and the Museum, which holds some of the country's best nautical history.
Bob added: "We've been amazed with the response we've had to the new 308 this car certainly seems to be living up to expectations."
