Portsmouth Interest Rate Drop
In a bid to make buying a vehicle even more affordable, award winning motor retailer, Perrys Peugeot and Fiat on Walton Road, Farlington, has cut the cost of borrowing by a quarter of one percent. This is quite a feat, considering the average lending cost has gone up three times in the last twelve months alone.Commented dealership General Manager, Bob Wright: "Signing up to buy a car is one of the largest financial commitments a person makes, second only to buying a house. It is therefore crucial that people feel they are borrowing within their means, at a rate which is affordable to them."
"The current financial climate is making this increasingly difficult, with three increases in the Bank of England base rate in the last year alone. People are beginning to feel the pinch as lenders everywhere are hiking up interest rates."
Perrys, on the other hand, is doing the exact opposite, in order to keep the cost of borrowing as low as possible. As well as a drop in the base interest rate, the dealership is also offering other cost saving deals, including buy now, pay next year and 0% finance on selected vehicles, as well as a range of business user options.
Bob continued: "At Perrys we endeavour to maintain a customer focused approach to lending. Our resident Financial Services Authority approved expert, is always on hand to speak to customers who are considering running a vehicle on finance. His job is to ensure that each finance agreement is as unique as the client themselves, meeting their individual requirements and budget."
"In other words, our primary objective is to make running a vehicle easily and comfortably affordable."
If you are thinking about changing your vehicle, pop into Perrys Peugeot and Fiat on Walton Road, Farlington, and find out how much you could save by running a vehicle through Perrys Finance. Alternatively, call 02392 314214 for more information.
