MATTHEW EDWADS LOCAL BUSINESS SPECILIST

Portsmouth’s small businesses have numerous pressures, and many find little time to go around neighbouring car dealerships to find the best vehicle for their requirements. Thanks to leading motor dealership Perrys, and its new business specialist, Matthew Edwards, local businessmen and women don’t even have to leave their desks.

Based at Perrys’ Peugeot and Fiat dealership in Farlington, Portsmouth, Matthew has adopted a unique approach to business sales in the area. He commented: I ran my own business for 15 years, which has provided me first-hand experience of the sort of pressures, concerns and constraints businesses face every day. As a result, I can more readily understand their needs to make the process of leasing a vehicle through Perrys as easy and hassle-free as possible.”

To start, Matthew visits clients at their place of work. He continued: “By doing this I can gain a full understanding of exactly what they are looking for in a vehicle, what they will be using it for and what budget they have, without them having to leave the phones or busy office.”

After his initial appraisal and assessment, Matthew then researches which type of car or van would best suit the client’s needs before meeting with them to discuss his findings. He added: “My main priority is to ensure customers have the benefits of running a vehicle without all the pressures involved in buying one. By adapting a hands-on approach, not only can I save customers time, stress and money, I can find them a vehicle which will benefit them day-to-day.”

Once a suitable vehicle is selected, Matthew, who is FSA approved, draws up a completely bespoke contract with Perrys’ in-house finance specialist. “By involving our finance specilist, I can ensure that each contract is as unique as the business itself, meeting each individual’s requirement and budget.”

Matthew’s consideration doesn’t just cover the initial purchase, as every aspect of service and repair is also accounted for: “In order to help business achieve completely hassle-free motoring, with no hidden costs or additional expense, we ensure everything - right down to service, repair and the provision of curtsey vehicles - is covered.”

Matthew concluded: “Business customers deserve service that puts them first, which I take very seriously and believe it is something that local firms can always expect when they purchase and run a vehicle with Perrys.”
