Peugeot 'welcomes new code of practice'
Motorists looking for a reliable repair and servicing company can rely on Peugeot, the manufacturer has claimed.According to the manufacturer, it was one of the first organisations to sign all of its dealers up to a new code of practice which is designed to improve customer service.
Peugeot claimed it has been working for some time towards the introduction of the code which was announced last week and as a result its dealers are already operating to the specified standards.
Andy Bye from Peugeot said: "We welcome the introduction of this initiative and are delighted too that all Peugeot dealers in our network are already signed up."
He stated customers would benefit from transparent pricing, honest and fair servicing, invoices that match quoted prices, conscientious staff and completion of work as agreed.
Elsewhere, a survey by Manheim Retail Services has revealed demand for used cars has held up well in the face of the credit crunch.
