Peugeot dealership 'the place to be for car deals'
Drivers with cash to splash should get themselves down to their nearest Peugeot dealership, if details of the new 3008 model are anything to go by.Paddy Murphy of Continental Tyres recently commented on the Irish Car of the Year 2010 award, which was given to the motor at a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry.
He remarked: "The Peugeot 3008 is the first Irish Car of the Year to come from outside the traditional car segments.
"It's a huge testament to the car's qualities that it has emerged top of such an illustrious list of models."
The jurors – from the Irish Motoring Writers Association – picked the car from a line-up which included the Honda Jazz and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Elsewhere, eco-car drivers might want to drive a Peugeot i0n off the forecourt in late 2010.
That's because the company is already taking pre-registrations for the zero-emissions electric car.
