Peugeot releases 207 prices

	French car manufacturer Peugeot has announced the prices for its much-anticipated new 207 model. Due to be released on June 8th, the stunning new Peugeot hopes to emulate the success of its predecessor, the 206. And with prices starting at just £8,995 for the three-door 1.4 eight-valve petrol Urban model, the 207 looks likely to become just as popular. The 207 will be available as either a three or five door hatchback at its launch next month, although other body styles are expected to be introduced as the range 'evolves'. Peugeot has announced a range of five different trim levels, the Urban, S, Sport, SE and GT, each available along with a choice of six different engine options. With an outstanding overall score in its Euro NCAP tests, the 207 is also one of the safest superminis on the road at the moment. It was awarded five stars for occupant protection, three stars for pedestrian impact protection, and four stars for child occupant protection.
