Peugeot has declared that the British International Show (BIMS) was a massive success as thousands of visitors flocked to see its latest models.
The French firm said that it received thousands of genuine customer enquiries regarding its new range of vehicles and would implement certain recommendations in due course.
The 207 enjoyed a particularly robust July thanks to the influence of BIMS, overtaking the 206 as Peugeot's best-selling model.
Peugeot also said that the 307 has enjoyed a sales rebound as a result of the BIMS, with July sales easily ahead of the corresponding period in 2005.
Meanwhile, sales of the Coupe Cabriolet have remained strong and was in fact was the best-selling brand of Cabriolet models sold in the UK so far this year.
However, Peugeot has announced it is launching a number of offers in order to maintain sales momentum.
Until September 30th drivers of the Peugeot 107, available from £7,435, over the age of 19 can take advantage of free insurance, as can drivers of the 206 CC aged 25 or over.
The 307 meanwhile, which is available in estate, SW and hatchback versions, comes with four-year zero per cent finance dependent on a 20 per cent d4eposit, while a 35 per cent deposit for the 307 CC will allow customers to take advantage of a three-year zero per cent finance deal.
Furthermore, customers interested in buying a Peugeot 207 can take advantage of a 24-hour test drive to familiaraise themselves with the car's relative strengths and weaknesses before committing to purchase.
