Peugeot launches Smartnav online campaign
Peugeot has launched a site within its website to help it promote the navigation features on its 407 Saloon and SW outfits.The advertising campaign lets drivers get an understanding of how the Smartnav location and traffic avoidance system works and helps support the current advertising campaign that accompanies the vehicle.
The concept behind the Smartnav is a good one and is targeted at inner city drivers. The system is for people who want stress free driving in congested streets, blocked roads, and ways to deal with detours.
Drivers behind the wheel of a car fitted with Smartnav have access to real-time traffic data, road layouts and safety camera locations. The system takes road blockades and accidents into account so it can determine the fastest route to your location. The system also constantly updates and will reroute if an accident occurs somewhere in the path of your journey.
Smartnav can be used via the touch screen or via phone and the personal assistant bonus lets you know where the nearest bank, restaurant, hotel or florist is.
The Smartnav online campaign explains the benefits to the viewer in four real-life scenarios including congestion and safety cameras. The site also has links to order a brochure.
