Peugeot 207 van 'to continue success story'
The new Peugeot 207 van that will go on sale in September is expected to wow the public with its "stylish good looks".Its manufacturer claims the new range, which replaces the Peugeot 206 van, will drive the success story of the 207 into the market for light commercial vehicles.
The new model is based on the three-door 207 hatchback and comes three engine options.
"All the engines will be fitted with a manual five-speed gearbox with ratios selected to match the individual engine characteristics," the van maker said.
Standard equipment includes side airbags for both the driver and passengers, as well as seat height adjustments, ABS and remote control central locking with deadlocks.
The van, which will be launched on September 1st costing from £7,995 VAT exclusive, comes in white.
Peugeot's 207 supermini was Europe's biggest selling car during the first half of 2007, according to figures published by automotive data and intelligence company Jato Dynamics.
