Peugeot 207 summer editions launched
Peugeot today unveiled two new summer special editions of its 207 supermini.The 207 m:play is aimed at music connoisseurs and is supplied with built in mp3 player compatibility.
The 1.4-litre engined car also comes with air conditioning, sports seats, carpet mats and a leather steering wheel as standard and is available in a choice of three bright, summery colours - flamenco red, lacerta and neysha blue.
Also new to the market is a Peugeot 207 limited edition designed to put the fun back into summer driving.
The 207 Sport XS THP 150 is powered by a 1.6-litre THP turbocharged petrol engine, which is capable of producing 150 bhp and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.7 seconds.
Just 800 of the Sport XS model are being made, all of which come with 17-inch Hockenheim alloy wheels, a colour coded rear bumper and front and rear spoilers.
The Sport XS will cost from just £13,995 on-the-road, while the m:play will be available from £10,645 on-the-road when the special editions go on sale in August.
Figures recently published by automotive data provider Jato Dynamics showed the Peugeot 207 was Europe's biggest selling new car during the first six months of 2007.
