Peugeot 207 'popular with children'
The Peugeot 207 appears to be as popular with children as it is with adults.The supermini was Europe's biggest selling car in the first six months of 2007 and a miniature version of it is now wowing young visitors to Alton Towers.
Research conducted by staff at Alton Towers found that the Peugeot 207 driving school ride was the most popular children's attraction at the theme park.
The ride, aimed at under-tens, consists of a safety briefing before the youngsters are let loose in mini battery-powered versions of the 207.
Peugeot's director of public relations, Andrew Didlick said it is important to give road users of the future the chance to experience driving situations.
"Many young people can't wait to get out in their own car, and by teaching them the basic Highway Code through the ride we are enforcing the need for driver and pedestrian safety," he added.
The Peugeot 207 range is available from £8,995 on the road.
