Peugeot outlines plans for successor to 206 CC
Peugeot has underlined the popularity of the 206-cc">206 CC [Coupe Cabriolet] while unveiling launch details for its successor.The 206-cc">Peugeot 206 CC was first introduced into Peugeot car dealerships in the UK in 2001 and immediately became the top-selling convertible in the country, according to the French automaker.
Moreover, it is also claimed that the model became the world's most popular small CC car, with motorists drawn to the fact that it offered an electric folding roof without the price tag traditionally associated with luxury vehicles.
But from March 2007, Peugeot car dealerships across the UK will welcome the arrival of the successor to the 206-cc">206 CC, entitled the 207 CC.
The redesigned model will include alloy wheels, front fog lights, electric windows, remote control central locking, electric power steering and a host of other options as standard at launch.
And building on the popularity of the 206-cc">206 CC, the vehicle will also incorporate an electric folding roof.
Consequently, the French car maker has predicted that "the 207 CC, like its predecessor, will once again write a new chapter in the history of small coupe cabriolets".
