Peugeot announces plan to offer free car insurance with 207 CC
Motorists who are currently scouring car dealerships in search of a competitively-priced supermini have been put on alert after Peugeot announced it will offer complementary motor insurance to buyers of the new 207 CC.Drivers who swoop for the model at Peugeot car dealerships before the end of March 2007 will be given a full year's car insurance cover for free by the French automaker, removing the hassle of having to shop around for the cheapest quotes.
A successor to the long-running 206 series, the Peugeot 207 CC has on-the-road prices starting from £14,795 and comes in two distinctive trim levels, Sport and GT.
Moreover, buyers can also realise their preference for either a diesel or a petrol engine, since both options will be available from launch.
In the UK, it is illegal to drive without a minimum of third party car insurance cover.
However, many new car buyers may decide it is a worthwhile investment to spend a bit more and arrange either third party, fire and theft or fully comprehensive car insurance cover, which protect against a wider range of motoring mishaps.
