With some 60,000 currently on British roads the Peugeot 206 is virtually unchallenged as the most customised car in the UK, with adaptations ranging from go faster stripes to exhausts the size of a Tiger Tank.
However, as a helping hand to extrovert owners looking to customize their Peugeot 206, the French manufacturer has announced it is to launch a bespoke range of accessories for the model.
Many individual items such as sports grilles, LED rear lights, a sports fuel filler cap, an alloy gearknob, bonnet top grille, rear spoiler, sports rear lights, chrome headrest hoops (for the CC only), wheelarch extensions, a twin headlight conversion and a set of 17" alloy wheels are all available.
Alternatively, many of these products have been incorporated into one a number of Sports Packs, five of which are available for the hatchback, and four for the CC AND GTi 180.
Available only through Peugeot Dealerships, prices start from just £45.
Meanwhile, npower chose the Peugeot 206 van as the most appropriate vehicle for its meter reading service. Some 168 of the 206 1.4 HDi vans will be supplied to npower to operate throughout the UK.
Transport News Network quoted Jason Chamberlain, account & business development manager at Venson, which handles npower's fleet requirements, saying: "This is a first for npower in that it is the largest single badge deal that the company has ever undertaken.
"In partnership with npower, we assessed a number of manufacturers on quality, safety, suitability and overall cost. The Peugeot 206 van met the criteria and so was successful in choice."
