French car company Peugeot has revealed a new deal celebrating 71 years of the driving test. The firm said the number of people learning to drive is in decline as many are put off at the cost of owning a car if they pass. To compensate, Peugeot is to offer its 107 Urban with an attractive financing package. Available at Peugeot dealerships until March 31st, the offer will allow drivers to walk away with Auto Express' Best Budget Car for only £107 a month, with a £999 deposit. The car comes with a 1.0 litre petrol engine, packing a decent 61.4mpg. Creature comforts include 50/50 split folding rear seats to give extra storage room, four airbags as standard including front side airbags, electric front windows and central locking. ABS anti-lock breaks come as standard in the vehicle, as does central locking and electric power steering. The security conscious can also rest easy with the car's engine immobiliser. Without the finance option the car is available from £7,145 for the three door hatchback, £7,995 for the 2-Tronic five door version, and is available in a range of colours.
