Nissan Qashqai and Navara win awards
Nissan's Qashqai and Navara vehicles have picked up accolades at this year's Fleet News Awards.The Qashqai received the top prize in the small family car category - its sixth award to date - while the Navara gained the title of best working vehicle.
Other contenders for the small family car award included the Honda Civic, Peugeot 308 and Vauxhall Astra, while the Navara beat off competition from the Mitsubishi L200 and the Toyota Hilux.
James Douglas, director of fleet sales for Nissan Motor, said that the Qashqai's award reflected the good standing it had among fleet industry executives.
He added: "Navara is a great vehicle for fleet users with its versatility, being an able workhorse throughout the week and a family vehicle at the evenings or weekends. This award confirms why it is the UK's number one pickup."
Nissan recently unveiled its Denki Cube electric concept car at the New York International Auto Show.
