Nissan Pathfinder put to the used car test
Those after a used car may want to visit their local Nissan dealership following a review of the Pathfinder sports utility vehicle.According to the Times' Jason Dawe, the model - which was first introduced in 2005 - can do most of the things a Land Rover Discovery can, but for a smaller price tag.
It has "decent off-road ability" and the centre row of seats can be folded flat via a handle. The back row can also be moved to provide "a huge luggage capacity".
However, Mr Dawe noted that the rear seats may only be suitable for children, as there is limited space for passengers to place their feet under the middle row.
Another tip he gave for potential buyers of the Pathfinder was "try before you buy" to decide whether the more expensive automatic model is worth the money, due to "ponderous shift-speed and ragged action".
However, overall the car was given more positive ratings than negative.
Also included in the Times driving section was a review of the Aston Martin DB9 V12 Volante, which was given the once-over by Ashes to Ashes star Philip Glenister.
