Nissan car deal 'great for green motoring'
A Nissan car deal could be an appropriate choice for consumers with a passion for eco-friendly motoring, judging by details of the manufacturer's partnership with the One North East regional development agency.The two organisations will work together in order to promote the zero emissions automotive industry in the north-east, including demonstration initiatives that will be carried out in 2010 and 2011.
One North East chairman Margaret Fay commented: "We look forward to stimulating and shaping this emerging industry which will create new jobs for our region and help to reduce carbon emissions."
The plans mean that the group will put forward at least 619 charging points by 2011 which can be used by the public.
In other news from the manufacturer, the NV200 was recently named as the What Van? Van of the Year 2010.
Overall, it was praised for its fuel economy and cargo capacity – which could appeal to consumers who are looking to get the best value for their investment.
