Mixim concept to be revealed in Frankfurt
The Mixim concept car will be unveiled by Nissan at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2007.Claiming to be a vehicle inspired by technology, it has been designed for people who are familiar with gaming and the internet.
Although the car will not go into production, the Japanese manufacturer has stated that motorists will be instantly at home with its interface – based on video game controls.
Powered by Nissan's electric Super Motor generator on compact lithium-ion batteries, the model also follows the firm's green credentials.
"Mixim's development is in line with the Nissan Green Programme, the company's publicly stated desire to create a more sustainable mobile society," the firm stated.
Alongside the Mixim, the company will debut a new Micra.
The original Nissan Micra was first introduced in October 1982 as a small car to rival the success of the Honda City.
