Vauxhall Viva Review

"On the road, the Vauxhall is exactly what most buyers would want from a city car: safe, predictable and easy to manoeuvre."

Vauxhall Viva

The Viva name became synonymous with affordable, practical and reliable motoring in the 1960s and 70s and Vauxhall has brought it back – taking the essence of the original models and updating them for the modern driver. A petite city car, this five-door hatchback is perfect for first time buyers and those on the lookout for an economical car. With a stylish interior to match the Adam, the Viva provides plenty of character for the price tag as well as the sort of driver-friendly performance you’d expect from Vauxhall.

The SL version buys you climate control, 15-inch alloys and the IntelliLink infotainment which lets you use your phone as a Sat Nav system.

  • Most affordable Vauxhall on the market
  • Trendy 'blade' exterior design to update an old classic
  • Low running costs

Vauxhall’s Labour Of Love

The restoration of a rare model, which turned in to a labour of love for Vauxhall’s Heritage team, will see the light of day for the first time at next week’s Classic Motor Show.

This Gran Can and So Can The Viva

As part of the launch of the new Vauxhall Viva the car maker did some research into how people in the 50's feel about life as they were born around the time the last Viva hit Britain's roads. The results show a growing number of 50 somethings getting somewhat stuck into life just like the new Viva.
