Three new Minis unveiled
A recent event saw three new versions of a classic car unveiled, it has been reported.Mini United was held at the Silverstone Circuit and attended by in excess of 25,000 people over the bank holiday.
During the event, the Mini 50 Mayfair, Mini 50 Camden and Mini John Cooper Works World Championship 50 made their debut.
The gathering was organised to celebrate the brand's 50th anniversary and a one-off version of the car based on one owned by the Beatle George Harrison was also unveiled.
Harrison's wife Olivia was presented with the vehicle on behalf of the Material World Charitable Foundation so it can be auctioned off later this year.
She said George would have loved the new edition of the car.
"The fact that the 50th anniversary celebrations for Mini will also benefit our foundation has made it an enjoyable as well as meaningful collaboration," Olivia added.
Fifty years ago this month, the world's first Mini was produced in Cowley.
