New supermini "excites" Subaru
The new supermini from automobile manufacturer Subaru has excited the company.Managing director of the firm in the UK Lawrence Good has stated that the model's economical and environmentally-friendly features have set tongues wagging.
He said: "Everyone is very enthusiastic about the new Justy as it is will appeal to environmentally-conscious motorists and those seeking ultra-low running costs."
The five-door, 1.0-litre car emits so little that it is expected to be immune to the London congestion charge when it goes on sale.
However, with only 1,000 models in the UK being made available this year drivers may have to act fast to pick one up. The same scenario applies in Europe, where 6,000 cars will be distributed.
Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster, on which the manufacturer's star logo is also based.
The automaker is also a division of Fuji Heavy Industries.
