Have a Mini weekend at Goodwood
Goodwood in West Sussex is helping Mini celebrate its 50th birthday by involving it in some May events and shows.The Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed will both include the compact car to mark this event and say "Mini happy returns".
From July 3rd to 5th, a range of ex-works rally motors are set to wow fans at the Festival of Speed, as well as rare versions such as the GT Coupe and Dart models.
The next month, "true Goodwood nostalgic style" will continue the celebration with the St Mary's trophy saloon car race, featuring various Mini Coopers from pre-1966 races.
Finally, a parade with about 50 of the cars will be a spectacle to see, as it is set to include more unusual styles such as an ice cream van, a pickup truck and Wildgoose camping cars.
Goodwood is located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and regularly entertains crowds with classic vehicle shows.
