BCA claims Mini owners have a lot to smile about

Mini owners have a lot to be happy about at the moment, it has been claimed.

According to British Car Auctions, it regularly sees examples of the model going under the hammer at its sales and such vehicles tend to prove popular.

It stated Minis consistently do well when it comes to holding their value - which could be good news for people looking to buy a new edition of the auto.

BCA PR Manager Tim Naylor said: The car is genuinely aspirational for a wide range of drivers of all ages.

"Mini has great character and massive appeal," he added.

This comes after a celebration of the vehicle's 50th anniversary at Silverstone over the last bank holiday weekend.

Motorists who worry about the rapid depreciation of many new cars may want to pay a visit to their local Mini dealership to book a test drive.

The very first example of the car was produced at Cowley in Oxford.
