Mazda5 range comes to UK
Mazda has launched its nine-strong Mazda5 range in the UK.A number of different versions are available to consumers, including petrol and diesel variants in addition to an automatic model - released in March.
The vehicle is expected to be popular with young professionals between the ages of 35 and 45, as convenience and handling are among its two top features, commented Mazda UK marketing director Mark Cameron.
He said that the vehicle is to be marketed as "a fine handling car that has our brand's typically high driver appeal.
"The upgraded Mazda5 for 2008 is the ideal vehicle for Mazda to consolidate its strong appeal in this segment," commented the official.
Mazda has become one of the world's leading car manufacturers since it was established in Hiroshima, Japan in 1920.
Ford owns a 33 per cent stake in the automaker, making Mazda stable mates with British firms Land Rover and Jaguar.
