Mazda RX-8 PZ to be given run-out at fleet demonstration
Fleet managers are to be given the opportunity to test out the Mazda RX-8 PZ at a forthcoming series of interactive car demonstrations.Running from November 7th to November 10th at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, Mazda plans to invite 500 fleet decision-makers to try out the sports car, as well as the MX-5, the MX-5 Roadster Coupe and the Mazda6 MPS.
Those on the guest list will be able to test out the handling and acceleration of the sporty Mazda car on both a high-speed bowl and a more challenging circuit.
The automaker has also revealed that it anticipates selling more than 17,500 fleet vehicles this year, representing approximately a third of all its vehicle sales.
"Mazda has been particularly successful in growing fleet sales through its value-for-money philosophy, which sees sporty and hi-spec models proving attractive to company car drivers and user choosers," explains Adam Pumfrey, fleet and remarketing director at Mazda.
In related news, this week saw the MX-5 awarded the title of best drop-top, following a vote by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers.
