Mazda reveals new cars
New cars have been revealed by Mazda, which has scheduled April 1st as the day the models will hit showrooms.The Mazda MX-5 sports car range includes eight different upgraded variants starting at £16,345 on the road.
Carbon emissions have been improved by up to seven per cent and there is the option of a new PowerShift six-speed transmission.
This means those motorists can change gear by using paddles located behind the steering wheel.
Sales director for the UK branch of the automotive group Mark Cameron said the modifications made to the MX-5s will make them even more fun to drive.
"They are unrivalled as rewarding sports cars that can also be used for everyday motoring," he explained.
"All year round, the whole sportscar ownership experience is supported by Mazda's legendary reliability and durability."
Each model in the range comes with alloys and a leather steering wheel, together with an mp3-compatible audio system.
Meanwhile, Mazda announced the premiere of its 3 and 3 i-stop products, which are scheduled to debut at the Geneva International Motor Show 2009.
