Mazda urges motorists to be quick
Drivers who are considering purchasing a Mazda5 or Mazda6 may want to do so before the end of the month. The manufacturer has announced prices for the models will be going up by two per cent in April.
It revealed the Mazda5 will increase by an average of £323 and the Mazda6 will be approximately £345 more expensive.
The company explained they were taking this step as a result of the rising cost of raw materials and currency fluctuations.
Sales and marketing director Mark Cameron claimed he was confident motorists would be prepared to pay the extra money for the group's generously specified models.
He stated: "Customers still want a stylish and distinctive car, without compromising on the key aspects of quality, reliability and driving enjoyment."
Meanwhile, Mazda recently reported its share of the European passenger vehicle market rose to two per cent in February, despite difficult trading conditions.
