Mazda updates its Mazda5 'for families'

Automobile manufacturer Mazda has updated its Mazda5 model to make it a better car for families.

The firm has attempted to make it quieter inside the vehicle, insulating the roof to keep outside noise to a minimum.

It has also added a multi-resonator to reduce the sound of the engine and ensure the driver can hear exactly what is going on in the car.

Sliding doors with an opening width of 700 mm are attached and come with a device which allows the person behind the wheel to control their opening and closing.

"Demand for Mazda's popular multi-activity vehicle, the Mazda5, with its unique dual sliding rear doors, is sure to rise next year with the introduction of a significantly improved model that will be even more family friendly," commented the company.

Founded in 1920, Mazda has gone on to become an affiliate of Ford Motor Company.
