Mazda3 MPS 'part of automaker's strongest ever fleet line-up'
Mazda has earmarked the latest edition of the 3-series as one of several models that could appeal to fleet managers over the coming months.The Mazda3 MPS boasts a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine and can apparently accelerate from a standing start to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds before top-ending at 155 mph.
As such, the Japanese automaker claims its model is currently the fastest hot-hatch on the market.
And James Hopkins, fleet and remarketing director at Mazda, said that the latest launch would help the marque reach out to a wider cross-section of business users than ever before.
"Mazda's sports car proposition with the Mazda MX-5 as well as the Mazda RX-8, Mazda6 MPS and now the Mazda3 MPS is very strong," he said.
"Our vehicle line-up for user-choosers has never been stronger."
The automaker's MPS brand is intended to signify that the model offers higher performance than its cousins across the standard range.
