Mazda3 MPS offers a "very complete package"
Mazda has announced that its flagship model in the 3-series has officially gone on sale in the UK.Available at Mazda car dealerships across the UK now, the Mazda3 MPS has an on-the-road price of £18,995 and may particularly appeal to motorists who have a need for speed.
The model can accelerate from a standing start to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, while owners who want to test the vehicle to its limits can reach an overall top speed of 155 mph.
And the Japanese automaker has attempted to ensure that performance does not come at the expense of style, with MPS-branded sports seats included and 18-ins alloy wheels as standard.
"Typical of Mazda's engineering ethos, the Mazda3 MPS is a very complete package," commented Rob Lindley, managing director of Mazda UK.
"Alongside sensational performance, it will of course retain the accessibility, practicality, reliability and build quality of its sister models."
Earlier this month, automotive warranty specialist Warranty Direct published an independent study that claimed Mazda cars typically broke down fewer times then those of any other major automotive brand in the UK and US.
