Mazda3 'a great business choice'

Businesses keen to cut costs may want to pay a visit to their local Mazda dealership.

According to the manufacturer, one of the latest additions to its range is the ideal choice for cost-conscious fleets and company car drivers.

It explained the new Mazda3 is expected to boast a residual value after three years or 60,000 miles of up to 35 per cent.

The group claimed this puts the model ahead of rivals like the Vauxhall Astra, Toyota Auris, Renault Megane and Ford Focus.

In addition, the car boasts CO2 emissions of less than 160 g/km, which means companies will qualify for certain tax benefits.

Fleet and remarketing director Peter Allibon commented: "Mazda3 represents a fantastic cost-effective alternative to the perceived mainstream models in the lower medium sector."

In other news, the manufacturer recently announced its Mazda2 was the seventh most popular auto in Scotland during April in terms of sales figures.
