Mazda model may tempt buyers looking for a family car
Motorists looking to buy a new family car in the coming months may want to pay a visit to their local Mazda dealership. The manufacturer has revealed first deliveries of the updated Mazda3 are scheduled for the middle of May, with prices starting at £13,500.
It explained a number of improvements have been made to the car, including reducing its carbon dioxide emissions.
Customers purchasing the 1.6-litre diesel version of the model will be eligible to pay £35 annual road tax as the car releases 119 g/km.
The company also pointed out the appearance of the vehicle has changed, likening it to a "baby Mazda6".
It said the vehicle shared the distinctive lines of its sibling.
Meanwhile, sales and marketing director Mark Cameron stated: "The new model has a more striking design with higher levels of interior comfort and quality providing a more premium cabin environment."
The launch of the Mazda3 follows the release of the 2009 MX-5 range.
