Another Mazda3 'to be unveiled next month'
The latest version of the Mazda3 is to be unveiled next month, the manufacturer has revealed.A five-door hatchback edition of the model is due to make its world premiere at the Bologna Motor Show on December 3rd.
This comes after a four-door saloon version was launched at this month's Los Angeles Auto Show.
Commenting on the five-door hatchback, Mazda said it offered "sporty driving and a dynamic design, together with top-class environmental and safety performance".
According to the manufacturer, the designers of the latest version of the model paid a lot of attention to its green credentials.
It pointed out the car features more efficient powertrains, weight-saving engineering solutions and excellent aerodynamics.
Mazda also claimed the vehicle's engine choices had been specifically targeted at European customers and included a 2.2-litre turbo diesel version.
Earlier this month, the manufacturer described the four-door saloon Mazda3 as being one of the most eagerly anticipated new models being unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
