Mazda has revealed its new upgraded Mazda2 range, which is now on sale in the UK.
The nine-strong series comes with a choice of three petrol and one diesel engine, exterior changes to the front and rear light, new paint colours and improved interior trim.
Prices start from £8,700 and rise to £10,630 on the road, coming with a choice of four Euro Stage 4 compliant powertrains.
Outside, the 2006 car looks quite different to previous designs, but still maintains the distinctive Zoom Zoom front end, strong shoulder lines and broad stance.
New trim has been added to the interior, with a change of colour from khaki to black in most models, as well as a titanium-look centre console to unify the interior atmosphere.
However, despite some changes, the Mazda2 maintains its award winning features, such as it high opening hatch and low load sill for excellent luggage loading and a spacious cabin with easy access.
Mazda has also been generous with the equipment on the 2006 series, with customers being able to take advantage of a retractable 'jack knife' key with remote central locking, power steering, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, height and slide adjustable driver’s seat and a perimeter alarm on the standard model.
