Mazda 2 Sport features confirmed

Mazda has confirmed what features will be included as standard on the new top-end model in the 2-series.

Set to land in Mazda car dealerships from September 8th 2007, the revamped Mazda2 will be available in three trim levels at launch - the entry-level TS, the TS2 and the Sport.

And with regards to the latter, motorists may be interested to hear that they will now be able to take advantage of a variety of hi-tech driving aids to cut stress on longer journeys.

A trip computer, a traction control system and a cruise control facility will all come as standard on the Mazda 2 Sport.

Meanwhile, buyers will also be able to make use of an integrated air conditioning unit.

In related news, the Japanese car manufacturer recently confirmed the features line-up for the new Mazda6 Kumano.

The limited-edition motor comes replete with high-powered Xenon headlamps, 16-ins alloys and bespoke badging to differentiate it from standard versions of the 6-series.
