Which? says Land Rover Discovery 'loved by 92% of owners'
The Land Rover Discovery has been voted one of the most loved vehicles on UK roads, according to the results of a new survey.In a report by consumer group Which? Car, 92 per cent of drivers were so pleased with the 4x4 model that they would recommend it to a friend.
This positions it third in a survey of all car models that took into account views on 32,550 drivers, with the Porsche Boxster finishing top and the Mazda MX-5 as runner-up.
Furthermore, the Discovery drivers reported that they found Land Rover's 4x4 practical, well-designed and good to drive.
Richard Headland, Which? Car editor, explains the criteria used for its annual survey of the most popular cars.
"We collected information on more than 32,000 cars this year from the people who know best - the owners," he said.
"We also carry out our own expert road tests and rate safety and security to give new or used car buyers straightforward, no-nonsense advice."
The Land Rover Discovery could prove ideal for motorists with a large family, offering four-corner independent air suspension as standard - to minimise car sickness - and up to seven adult seats stretching across three rows.
