Land Rover 'can see you safely through winter'
Motorists currently considering buying a new car may find a Land Rover is a good choice to see them safely through the winter and beyond, it has been claimed.According to the manufacturer, its models include a number of features which provide valuable peace of mind when driving conditions are poor.
It stated, with the Met Office issuing hazardous road warnings, technology such as four-wheel drive, hill descent control and terrain response can prove useful.
Meanwhile, for current owners who want to check their vehicles are in good-working order, the manufacturer has launched complimentary seasonal tests.
John Edwards, managing director with the carmaker, commented: "Poor driving conditions should be taken very seriously, so we are offering free winter health checks for all Land Rover customers."
Last month, the manufacturer confirmed it had cancelled its G4 programme so that it can concentrate more fully on its new product launches for 2009.
