Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 set to feature in Geneva
Motoring aficionados will be able to get their first glimpse of the forthcoming Freelander 2 TD4 diesel automatic at the Geneva motor show this month, it has been revealed. The model, set to go on sale at Land Rover car dealerships across the UK in April 2007, is expected to be the star attraction when the British-based automaker unveils its line-up for the coming year.
And prospective buyers may be reassured to know that the off-roader will qualify for the Freelander 2's extensive accessories programme, which includes a sports styling pack, 19-ins sports wheels, body colour mirror caps and a rear seat-based TV entertainment system.
"Land Rover has a long tradition of allowing customers to order vehicles to suit their needs but this new programme allows the greatest degree of personalisation ever offered to Freelander customers," remarked John Edwards, managing director of Land Rover UK.
Last month, Land Rover reaffirmed its commitment towards green living.
The company announced that it was aiming to offset the CO2 emissions of the first 45,000 miles driven by all of its new car buyers in 2007.
