Kia reveals Geneva production plans

Kia is to show off three fun concepts that it has designed with excitement and the environment in mind when the Geneva Motor Show kicks off next month.

According to the manufacturer, the company will be displaying the models at the 78th annual iteration of the exhibition on Tuesday March 4th at 12.30 GMT.

On-hand for the firm will be Kia managing director Paul Philpott as well as sales director Yaser Sabsogh, while a number of global Kia officials will be answering questions.

The Korean automaker added that it will be at the event "in strength", showcasing what it describes as "the brand's new and exciting future direction".

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that the Slovak automobile industry almost doubled its output over the course of 2007.

The news agency has attributed this to new plants from Kia and Peugeot, while both are scheduled to reach full capacity of 300,000 units by 2010.
