KKia has confirmed its commitment towards green driving solutions by announcing that the new Rio Hybrid will feature on its stand at the next Geneva motor show.
Set to take place next month, the automotive show is expected to incorporate stands from some of the largest automotive marques in the world.
And Kia's display stage will be dominated by the Rio Hybrid, which is powered by a synchronised electric motor operating alongside a standard 1.4-litre petrol engine.
Also set to feature on the company's stand will be an all-new concept car and a production-ready version of the cee'd SW.
In December 2006, the South Korean automaker published its sales figures for the year to date.
According to the company, it sold 95,707 Rios in export markets in the first eleven months of 2006.
However, its top-selling vehicle was the smaller Picanto supermini with a total of 119,376 units sold during the period.
